A Letter of Intent (LoI) for an order worth Rs 126 crore for supplying 10,000 MT fabricated girders was awarded to Zetwerk by L&T Ltd.

Zetwerk, a startup founded in 2018 that turned into a unicorn in 2021, will supply 10,000 MT fabricated girders for India’s first high-speed rail project.

A Letter of Intent (LoI) for an order worth Rs 126.55 crore was awarded to the company by L&T Ltd.

L&T plays a significant role in the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) project. Its arms are involved in C4 and C6 packages.

The 237.1 km long elevated C4 package runs from Zaroli Village on the Maharashtra – Gujarat border to Vadodara Station through 4 stations at Vapi, Bilimora, Surat and Bharuch in Gujarat.

The C4 package represents 46.6 per cent of the total length of the corridor, making it the longest of all the packages.

The C6 package, an 87.5 km stretch representing 17.2 per cent of the total length, runs elevated from the outskirts of Vadodara to the outskirts of Ahmedabad in Gujarat, with one station at Anand.

It must be noted that Zetwerk has established a global manufacturing network for custom manufacturing that helps transform digital designs into physical manifestations. Zetwerk offers manufacturing solutions across various products, from industrial use-cases like metal bridges, oil rigs, and aircraft/auto components to consumer use-cases like apparel.

The 508 km long MAHSR project will cover 155.76 km in Maharashtra, 4.3 km in the Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and 348.04 km in Gujarat, with 12 stations en route.

Upon completion, the High-Speed Rail will operate at a 320 Kmph, covering the entire distance in approximately 2 hours with limited stops and 3 hours with all stops.
